The distribution formation’s smoking products division is the company’s main division. Its people are spread out over the entire market and reach all the relevant sales points with a very high frequency of visits. Although the division mainly deals with the tobacco products of the corporations that it represents, it also handles additional products with sales and distribution characteristics that are suitable for the division’s activity. This division has more than 70 salespersons, divided into 9 teams and three regions.
The division also includes the marketing teams of the corporations in Globrands. These teams undergo regular training within the company and by the suppliers abroad. The sales promotion personnel are responsible for the retail marketing that takes place at the sales point, including supervision of the products’ visibility, availability of the products at the sales point, advertising material at the sales point, special sales promotion campaigns, etc.
They are also responsible for operation and control of the retail marketing formation of the international suppliers in Israel, and they cover key retail points that are responsible for approximately 60% of the national sales.
