About the Company's operations
Globrands was established in 2000 by a senior management team specializing in marketing and sales, which in the past managed the overall activity of JTI in Israel. The founding team decided to create a unique system that meets the needs of the distribution of multinational corporations in the field of tobacco and food.
The innovative business vision, together with maintaining high international standards, made Globrands a leading retail distribution company in Israel. In its early years, the company’s activity was based on the distribution of JTI brands. In 2006, the company made a quantum leap in the transition to a direct distribution model instead of a model based on independent distributors. As of 2007, BAT brands have been added and since 2013 the brands of the Wrigley chewing gum brand have been added. In 2015, a separate independent candy and snack division was allocated from the Smoking Products Division.
Through an excellent technological and human infrastructure, and using the Van-Sale Globrands method, its strategic partners ensure time, money and management resources. The VS method enables the company to take overall responsibility for each of the brands it markets from the import stage through the marketing system and up to the stages of sale carried out during one visit to the point of sale.
